1. General Policy
All purchases made through VirtuaHost are billed in GBP (£). By subscribing to or purchasing any service, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis and are issued in accordance with UK consumer protection standards.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:
- You request the refund within 24 hours of initial purchase.
- The service has not been used in a manner that violates the Terms of Service or AUP.
- Your service has not been suspended due to non-payment or policy violations.
- There is a verifiable issue directly caused by VirtuaHost preventing service use.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are strictly non-refundable:
- Domain name registrations, transfers, or renewals
- Licenses (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Windows Server, etc.)
- Server upgrades, add-ons, or custom configurations
- Abused, terminated, or suspended services
- One-time setup or consulting fees
4. Subscription Renewals
Renewal payments are final. Refunds for automatic renewals will only be considered if:
- The request is made within 24 hours of renewal.
- The service has not been actively used since renewal.
5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Opening a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting VirtuaHost violates this policy.
If a dispute is opened:
- Your services may be automatically suspended.
- Your account may be permanently banned.
- All rights to any active services may be forfeited.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you must:
- Open a support ticket via the Client Area
- Provide your invoice number and reason for request
- Allow up to 5–7 business days for review
7. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be issued back to the original payment method only.
Refund processing typically takes 3–10 business days, depending on the payment provider.
8. Changes to This Policy
VirtuaHost reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time.
Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
